Expository Quick Writes!

STUDENTS: This week we will be studying expository writing. Expository writing is used to explain, describe, give information, or inform an audience about a particular topic. Some topics include news articles, explanations of how something works, a report about an event that happened, how-to manuals, recipes, comparison essays, cause-and-effect stories, and descriptive writings. DIRECTIONS: Choose any topic, then write one expository paragraph about the topic. Your paragraph should include an introductory sentence stating the topic, as well as a conclusion sentence. Be creative and use your own original ideas!

Hi! This Wikispace has been created to serve as a college course exercise in blog development. As a teacher and student, I will be focusing on educational topics. This is a learning experience for me that I will share with students, colleagues, and other professional acquaintances.
