Some topics include news articles, explanations of how something works, a report about an event that happened, how-to manuals, recipes, comparison essays, cause-and-effect stories, and descriptive writings. 1. A sinus heart rhythm is a the way the heart beats for 90 percent of people. A sinus heart rhythm consists of a p wave, qrs, wave and a t wave. The p wave is the atrium part of the heart filling up to fill up the ventricles of the heart. The qrs wave is the filling and contracting of the ventricles to move blood to the the body. The t wave is the heart resetting to begin the process again. A sinus rhythm consists of any rhythm between 60 to 100 beats a minute. Lower than 60 is bradycardia and above 100 is tachycardia.

  2. I am going to give you one of my absolute favorite recipes that I make during this time of the year, Peanut Butter Balls. This recipe was given to me by my grandmother, Helen Anusiewicz.

    What you will need:
1- 18 oz jar of Chunky Peanut Butter
    3 cups of Rice Krispies
    1 box of Confectioner's Sugar
    1 stick of melted Butter
1- 12 oz package of Chocolate Chips
    1/2 stick of Paraffin

    Cooking Instructions:
Get all of your ingredients together and measured out. Mix together the Peanut Butter, Rice Krispies, Confectioner's Sugar, and Butter well with your hands in a large bowl. Shape, squeeze, and form together until balls are formed. Place then on a baking sheet topped with wax paper. This mixture should formed about 70 peanut butter balls.
Next, melt the 1/2 stick of paraffin wax with the 12 oz package of chocolate chips in a double boiler, keeping over hot water. Then, roll the peanut butter balls into the chocolate mixture and let them harden on a baking sheet topped with wax paper. Place them into the refrigerator. Store peanut butter balls in a container.

    ENJOY!

  4. Dogs can be a man (or woman's) best friend if you take care of them. As the owner of two dogs, I've become an expert on how to make your dog happy. They have three major needs: food/water, exercise, and attention. I have my pups on a regular eating schedule once a day in the evening. I leave water out for them all the time. I do my best to take them out for a walk around our neighborhood every afternoon or evening and my husband takes them out in the mornings. Dogs can get bored and destructive if they sit in the same room or yard all day every day. Lastly, they need lots of love and attention. This takes place when you take them for walks, but it should also be through play at home and relaxing on the floor or couch. Dogs are loyal, fun animals, but they require a lot of work to be treated with dignity and respect.
